We deliver across mainland UK. Most in-stock items are dispatched quickly and lead times shown on product pages are good-faith estimates rather than guaranteed dates. Larger or made-to-order equipment can take longer, and we will keep you updated if anything changes.
Some parts of Scotland, London and certain residential or agricultural postcodes may incur a delivery surcharge or occasionally be unserviceable for heavy freight. If your address is affected we will contact you before processing the order. You can also ask us in advance.
Deliveries are kerbside. Heavy equipment is delivered on a pallet to the nearest safe, accessible point at your address. Please make sure someone is available to receive the delivery and that you have the labour or equipment needed to offload and move the goods into position. Let us know in advance about any access restrictions (narrow roads, height limits, no forklift on site, etc.).
Please check your delivery on arrival. If anything is damaged, missing or not what you ordered, tell us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing luke.stenson@hhandling.co.uk with your order reference and photos of any damage (including the packaging). If damage is visible when the driver is there, note it with them if you can. Reporting quickly matters because carriers only accept claims for a few days. Don't worry though, faulty goods are always covered by your legal rights and our warranty regardless.
If you're buying as a consumer, you can cancel your order for any reason up to 14 days after the day you receive the goods, and you then have a further 14 days to send them back. Email us to let us know, keep the goods unused and in their original packaging where possible, and we'll talk you through the return. Because most of our products ship on pallets, you can arrange your own pallet courier or we can arrange collection and deduct the carriage cost from your refund, whichever you prefer. Refunds are issued within 14 days of the goods arriving back with us.
Made-to-order or specially configured equipment can't be cancelled or returned once your order has been accepted. We'll always flag this on the product page or before you buy.
Business customers: returns and cancellations need our prior written agreement and may carry a restocking charge. See our Terms & Conditions of Sale for details.
Unless stated otherwise, our equipment comes with a 12-month parts and labour warranty from delivery. If something develops a fault, contact us with your order reference and a description or photos of the problem and we'll arrange repair, replacement or refund as appropriate. Consumers also have statutory remedies for faulty goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which sit alongside the warranty. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions of Sale.
